Oh damn, its ringing again
Today is a Saturday and a much awaited weekend begins today. We went on an office trip to Goa last week and I am still tired from it. It is supposed to be a day to relax, take it easy and remember the fun in Goa.
But oh no, that god damn phone is ringing again. Lately the phone ring has been scaring me, immensely. On a weekend, a phone call doesn't always mean a friend remembered you. It is more common to get a call from some of your parents' friend whom just don't want to talk to and spoil your sleep. The phone call sometimes mean get up and work. And that's the worst one. Sometimes people call when you least want to attend a phone. Sample this - you are remembering that funny incident from the party when the MD danced with a shoe on his head. You are smiling, almost rolling on the floor with laughter, like Aamir in DCH. And the damn phone rings. Sometimes, peace and quiet is all you want and you just can't get it. You just closed your eyes and are reflecting on a great trip. And it RINGS!!! All this because you pay to have a mobile phone. Wonder what our lives would be if there were no mobile phones any more?
You would enjoying the rain more, thinking about yourself more, would probably go out less ......
Oh damn, its ringing again. Need to get this.. bbye

Rains in Delhi
Monday saw Delhi getting soaked, and stuck, in torrential rain
The signs were ominous as we got into our cab as the heavens seemed to be on the verge of an explosion
And sure enough the heavens opened just as we were about to enter Delhi. As waters lashed our cab, the strong wind made a flowing river of the road.
As our super slow cab driver got himself in to a strategic position between two buses :p, we knew it would take a few hours to get home. Out came those multimedia phones whose speakers seemed to be mute in comparison to the thunderstorm taking shape above us.
After a couple of wrong turns around jam-packed CP, thanks to lover boy R, we finally found our way home, and dry, to Janakpuri. It seemed the rain gods had only showered their blessings on the hi-fi areas of South Delhi and the Tihar immates, and their neighbors :(, have been left dry.
The next day was as clear as the previous was dark, but a few remnants, such as this insect on the office building, was there to remind us of the destruction the day before
